Pitt winning 4 of their past 5 , with 2 key wins over Baltimore , was a big surprise to me. I didnt see Rogers putting up the #'s he has in that span. The biggest diff in the improvement has been a dedication to running the ball. Warren hasnt exactly lit it up, but he has been a workhorse , giving Rogers an extra second when he uses the play action fake. Warren has been listed as a doubt this week due to an " illness ". I expect he starts , since Gainwell just isnt cutting it this season , and plays at less then 100%. Pitt cant afford to become 1 dimensional if the run game stalls ( I think it will ) Rogers at 41 isnt exactly that mobile. I think if Pitt falls behind and needs to play catch up , this one gets done early by Houston

Just my 2 cents

Latest Pitt update. As stated , his status was " illness " , causing him to sit out practice until Sat & Sun.

His 2 games against Baltimore were 5 rushes for 10 yards and 4 rushes for 15 yds. Not exactly getting the ball much , and clearly not getting much yardage per carry. Houston are MUCH BETTER defense thsn Baltimore... The point that matters most imo
