We will look into this is the cost of living comparable ?
The whole country is pretty affordable except maybe by the airport in Manila. I stayed in an ocean-side resort near Cebu for $65 a night through Airbnb.

Some of the more popular tourist places like Palawan and Boracay are going to be $100+ per night but they really are tropical beach paradises.

Genie could fill you in better on which ones to visit.
