Wow. I had no idea the max income threshold for getting snap was low.

So any individual earning < $18.7k per year is eligible to get SNAP. I can see why people with min-pay jobs (i.e. Walmart, McDonalds) need SNAP to survive.

I wonder how the income limit varies by state.
