Suppose you play a $110 two-team reverse on:

  • Team A –3
  • Team B +7

Your reverse actually consists of two $110 if-bets, one each way:

  1. $110 on Team A, and if it wins, another $110 goes on Team B.
  2. $110 on Team B, and if it wins, another $110 goes on Team A.
So your total risk is $220 ($110 × 2).

Both win

+$400

Both if-bets cash ($100 profit each × 2 = $200 profit × 2 directions)

One wins, one loses

–$120

You lose one leg but win only one of the two sequences

Both lose

–$220

Both bets lose

One wins, one pushes

+$100

You profit from one side, push cancels other hal
