Yesavage to start G1; Jays uncertain on Bichette

Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage will start Game 1 of the World Series on Friday against the Dodgers, while a decision on activating Bo Bichette has yet to be made.

I think a lot of people are surprised

He was playing in A ball and rose up through the system to start as a September call up. Most managers will hang their hats on a proven vet like Gausman to start.

We have nothing to lose as huge underdogs. Nobody outside of Canada is giving us any chance ....Why Not

I think Yesavage is your best bet to start game 1. I like the kid he has a lot of moxie and I think he will be unfazed by the moment. Hopefully the Jays can score some runs for him because that's the key to the series. if the Jays are to have any chance they're going to have to hit the ball like they did in the ALCS because you know the Dodgers won't be shut down completely. Who knows maybe they will but it's more likely that you'll have to win high scoring games to beat them. Good luck to you and your team Franz.

I agree with you on Snell. He is battle tested and pitching lights out. This is one that LA has a big leg up in , the other when Ohtani pitches @ home. Pitcher to pitcher at the plate.... Slight lean to Ohtani. LOL

Im going to pass and cross my fingers that Yesavage can hang for a while and give us a shot late.
