most of the time, i am talking homeowners here in the pacific northwest out of purchasing a metal roof because they are rarely in their homes long enough to realize the value. if they are dead set, i make sure they have proper insulation in place and good ventilation to prevent condensation and sweating issues. if the house has settled, or the trusses have been strained from multiple layers of roofing, it’s likely to be telegraphed with a metal roof and it’s key set this expectation. with that being said, i am not sure how roofing and homeowners insurance might benefit from a metal roof in other areas of the country where hail/storm damage reduces the life of roofs before their intended design. that might support a metal roof. out here, they are 85% or so more than a standard asphalt shingle roof. hope this helps 🙌
Roofer always on point

Bobby, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for money?
Wow that's a good question. Years ago during covid when I wasn't working I got started doing an online chat program where where I would pretend to be a girl and chat with lonely guys. It paid peanuts from what I can recall (maybe 2-3 cents a text) and I needed to do a certain number of chats a month in order to keep the position but it was a desperate time so I needed some extra cash. The company ended up shutting down about 2 or 3 months later so I didn't do it very long. I think I made maybe $1000 to $1500 a month if I can remember correctly. It was so long ago I don't really recall. I liked it for the flexibility there was no set schedule and I could do it whenever I want and it seems like there was chats available all the time. If I put more effort into it I could have probably made more but I was somewhat lazy with it.

Every single chat was with a different person and every guy got a different person to respond. So for example on one text I can be finishing up a conversation that a guy had with a girl but on the next conversation I could be starting a whole new conversation if that makes sense. None of the girls were real as far as I know. I believe all the guys saw was a name and a face which was probably fake/pulled from the internet somewhere

As you can imagine these were horny and lonely men. Some of the chat was sexual but from what I can remember it was just about building a "foundation" with these men. The way I understood it was basically the guy would get maybe attached to talking to a girl and continue to pay money to the company to talk to the girl but never really meeting her. I never really understood fully how it worked as it was never explained to me but that is what I'm pretty sure was going on

If things got real bad for you financially, would you consider selling your ass to men to make ends meet Bobby serious question ? I do appreciate you being transparent and sharing something very intimate & personal. So I’m not busting your balls here. I’m asking you a legitimate question.

not sure what’s more dangerous, driving around portland with $75k in center console safe or climbing a sketchy ladder. you’re not living until you try both 💪💪View attachment 75190

Normally, if JJ sees this kind of post, he will immediately ask for a loan. But with roofer, he never asks. Now we know why.
