Watched The Demi Moore Movie “The Substance” On HBO Last Night - **SPOILER ALERTS!!!!!**

I give it a thumbs up. It’s a pretty good horror flick, but if you’re watching it with you’re wife/girlfriend, there is a LOT of hot, gratuitous female nudity (not all of it by Demi Moore), so, awesome. Followed by a LOT of gratuitous gory horror - neither of which my wife is crazy about. There is some kind of ‘morality’ message in there somewhere, but luckily it doesn’t affect the movie.

Final thought - Dudes will love it, chicks will get jealous, then grossed out…..

Yeah I saw it a while back with my ex, she fell asleep and didn't really care for it. I thought it was a pretty good horror flick I think she won a Golden Globe for it, 7.4 rating for me.

I really liked it until (*spoiler alert*) the ending. That was without a doubt the dumbest fukking ending I've ever seen in any movie ever. It was so dumb it was hilarious so it didn't ruin the movie for me. But it was pretty fukking dumb.

So yeah, I would suggest giving it a view.

Agreed - ending did get a little “Evil Dead” Oh, come ON! ridiculous, but I’d still give it a thumbs up. A 7.4 - like @JDS said.

i want to watch it. sounds good and i know she got acclaim for it. i think she lost the oscar though and there was controversy.

Demi was great, and Dennis Quaid was hilarious. He should’ve got some kind of best supporting something, because his performance was awesome…..

I have to admit I never did see the final half hour of this movie until tonight. That was single-handedly, the worst ending of any movie ever made in the history of film. I downgrade my rating to 6.2
