Looking at the game now and o5.5 seems like a gift from the gambling gods.
Yes - Skubal is the obvious Cy Young winner in the AL - but it’s not like his counterpart is of equal caliber.
Then there’s the Detroit bullpen - which simply sucks. IF the M’s wear down Skubal - they could score 3 easily late in the game.
I’m hesitant to bet playoffs as the lines are sharper - but this one feels like way too much money getting spent on the under.
Like the over here and M’s +1 at -108 as well. I don’t see Detroit scoring a bunch of runs as Seattle will do everything they can to keep this close and avoid a 2-0 hole going on the road needing to win both.
