I’ve only been in the industry going on almost 4 years. What was it like in the golden years? What’s the biggest change? Who fell the hardest that was once one of the best?

Trips to CVS and checks cashing stores in the hood to do MG to Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Philippines. Some clerks thought I had a gf in the Philippines cause I would constantly send money there. I had dozens of alias as several of my names were blocked but clerks never questioned me. I used a lot of different variations from my name. Good times but frustrating when MG would hold the transaction and you had to call them up. And the mile of long receipts you get from the clerks.

Sportsbook.com was the book for me back in the day. They gave out lots of swags. Even won a trip to Playboy mansion party that was eventually cancelled. They credited my account with $3-$5k for the value of the event and out of pocket expenses in buying tickets for my friend and me. I forgot who the books were but went to Vegas for VIP event and Super Bowl watch party, the year Prince did the halftime. (Want to say this was Sportsbook but really can’t remember.)

Sorry, went reminiscing and forgot your question. So biggest change is how you deposit and withdraw as MG was thing for me in both transactions. Sometimes check in mail. But now ofc it’s greatly all crypto.

The golden years were the early 2000's

So many great places that treated the players right. Pinny, Bowmans, WWTS, Olympic, Cris etc
You wanted bonuses, you got it.
You wanted high limits, you got it
You wanted low juice, you got it.
Early lines, they got it too
Teasers that didnt cost an arm and a leg

Actually 10 years ago was kinda bleak.

After most of the big boys left, 5Dimes was one of the only games in town.
(if you wanted variety, not just the basic stuff)
And you better not get on the bad side of Tony

10 years ago it was BM, 5Dimes, Pinnacle. Crypto was already The Way. BOL's rise to the top happened later.

You need residency in a country that's not banned plus a VPN if you intend to bet from a restricted region.

If that's too hard, IIRC that raiders guy at SBR has been saying that...... has Pinnacle lines and takes US players.

Not really. Last time I did a limits check, b105 was 50% or less of Pinnacle's limits near post.

Big boys was in reference to books not players

Big boys was in reference to books not players

They are one of the biggest books in the world, roughly tied with BOL and Circa. Pretty much every other book moves on numbers from at least one of those three.
