There's nothing for free. USDT gives you a floor and ceiling of $1. Except there is always a small chance it collapses to 0 as other stablecoins have. Do stablecoins really have no volatility if there is a .01% chance every day it becomes worthless?

BTC has volatility but would never collapse to 0 for the same reasons stablecoins do (there is no central authority pegging it to anything).

And USD is a stable[shit]coin that gives you a nice annual return of about -3% with absolutely zero possible upsidw.

As for LINK, it is a faulty solution to the critical problem that plagues ETH: it's impossible to have smart contracts for anything but the most trivial contracts. As I've said on here many times before, you can't even write a sports betting smart contract and a sports bet is one of the most straightforward contracts you can devise. Then imagine something more complex like a real estate deal. Or something even more complex like maybe a business agreement.

LINK says the problem to the sports betting contract is that you need a centralized/group-sourced answer to who even won a given game. i.e. that certified information is what's needed.

Wrong. An infinite number of things can happen and all contracts need a potential adjudicator like a judge, even if the judge is not used often, the threat of the adjudication solves most disputes.

So what happens when BobbyFK unleashes a brutal fart at the SuperBowl during the 3rd Q and the game has to be paused for 48 hours to air out the stadium? All bets void? Action? Who decides? Not even the smartest contract writer could anticipate such a powerful fart from happening!!

I've been trading small cap stocks up and down the board over the last couple of months it's amazing the number of companies that have gotten hundreds of millions in private placements and they just start a "crypto treasury"

Sometimes BTC, but I've seen a lot of ETH too, and others. Crazy the money they are putting in.

There are some other companies out there that hold a shit ton of BTC, that's for sure, all publicly traded.

Even Gamestop is in the top 20 BTC holders.

I got in on that run with BitMine, ticker BMNR, but after that many of the other companies just ran for the morning then pulled back.

BMNR went nuts and started a frenzy of crypto treasury announcements. Unreal the money pouring into them.

Problem with NAK right now is that it's under $1

Once we get to .99 cents or less the spread starts to break up into fractions of pennies.

For example, a $1.01 sent stock can move a penny in one increment. But a .9650 stock can move 1/100th of penny in one increment. This because of the spread and the share sizes at those prices. That's too many incements for my time frames.

I like to see a penny stock break through that dollar on the way up, and try to buy that break.

NAK is in the mid .80s with potential to break a buck. So to me it's worth watching, but I need to see some good news and price action before I jump in.

You posted this at about 6:55 am my time, when the stock was around $6.60

ABTC first hit my scanners at 5:26 my time, when it was about $6.70.

I had my hands full and didn't really pay attention when it hit my scanner.

After you asked about it, it went to 6.98 and it now trades at 6.58

A lot of movement there.

The biggest concern is are these numbers actually right.....

They may have been worse than reported but the person filling in at the labor department didn't want to get fired for reporting job losses.

We will now always have to question if the data is valid.... This is not good.

They're planning a Solana crypto treasury but they haven't bough it yet.

Stock is near .95 cents so a break over a dollar could run a bit.

When they finally announce the addition of Solana to the balance sheet, it could be hundreds of millions worth and will likey bump the stock a bunch, at least temporarily.

But who knows when the Solana purchase will happen. The recent run is that they announced that they going forward with the crypto.

It's another stock to pay attention to.

Stock dropped to .75 today then went to 1.03 less then 30 minutes later. I did not trade that move at all.

I was not in on that move. Trying to stay disciplined but the market just keeps teasing us.
