Aaron Judge basically winning the triple crown at this point

Hard to believe anyone in his area code in the MVP race (think Judge was -5000 at one point)

But any other year Cal would be the favorite
Very true Judge is having another phemonal season and will lead the AL in most stat categories so he'll get it. Cal is having a tremendous year though I'm happy for him because it's tough to catch and still be productive at the plate.

If there was any justice in the world, Juan Soto would be putting up these numbers. The guy who just missed the Allstar team making over $50 million per season.

So he ended at 38 before All-star break.
Not bad but, we have to expect his HR rate to tail off in 2H.
6-40 at bats last 6 hits were homers, saw that online but don’t quote me I didn’t fact check it.

My bad, I was still making fun at JJ jinxing Judge as he went 0-3 and it’s the start of the downfall(?). Raleigh is already not looking good as in July he’s batting about .150 but has 5 HRs.

It will be interesting if one or both can maintain their hitting all the way to the end after the All-Star game. Raleigh at 38 and Judge at 35.
