I Don't Think Happiness Exists

What is it? What is true happiness?

Such a thing cannot possibly exist.

We have moments of euphoria but they never last.

We are born into a world where as we grow up and get older everything and everyone we know and love dies around us.

We inflict self harm seeking happiness. We use alcohol, drugs, whatever to get another moment of euphoria but all it is a just that-a moment.

Humanity appears to me to be set up for self destruction. Seeking things in this world that are impossible to achieve, know, or understand.

In our unavoidable eventual state of agony, we turn to family, friends, and prayer for help.

Only for eeverything to lead us back to eventual more agony.

It doesn't end until we die.

What kind of existence are we actually in?

Humanity has no idea...

1) How we got here.

2) Who created us and for what purpose.

3) The purpose of this existence.

4) Where it eventually leads.

5) Our own past.

6) Our future.

7) The meaning of it all.

How can this even be possible?

If a state of total, never-ending euphoria actually does exist, well Humanity has a word for that. Heaven.

So we will never experience real happiness unless we go to Heaven.

What are the chances?

This is the shit I think about a lot.

Sometimes I think the people that society looks down upon are the ones who have it right. The party people.

If we are in this fukked up of a condition, and we're all going to Hell anyway with no chance of gaining Heaven, we'll then, fukk it, let's party.

At that point, why not snort coke, drink until you drop, and bang as much pussy as humanly possible?

Not that I advocate for any of that type of behaviour, I'm just saying.

In terms of relationships I disagree, you can’t go searching for it, it needs to fall on your lap organically. Timing is “everything” as well for it to last.

Fortunately, there are lots of ways to achieve well being. Exercising, eating healthy, and maintaining positive social connections are all proven ways of boosting happiness. You're right that chasing dopamine highs does not achieve this, but that doesn't mean there aren't other ways to become happy.

Regarding relationships I would by default feel more congruent towards your philosophy if I didn’t currently have “my Kristin”. There’s still time for one of us to f*** that up though time will tell. Having said that I can still have fun single & fucking strange if I need to. This relationship is way more important & fulfilling though than fucking random whores I have to share.
