It's pretty simple really they lost their entire starting five from last year plus their coach. So new players plus new coach equals rebuilding year. It's hard to win when your rotation from last year all goes to different teams which is what happened to Connecticut.@Jrgum3 Can you help me understand what happened to the Connecticut Sun this year?
Finished 3rd in league last year and now they're 2-7 and 3rd from the bottom.
I ask because they are only favored by 2 vs Chicago Sky today and it looked too easy until I saw their record.
Wow... Did not know there was that much movement in WNBA.It's pretty simple really they lost their entire starting five from last year plus their coach. There generally is quite a bunch of movement in the offseason similar to the NBA but we probably don't hear much about it or pay attention to it because there just isn't much buzz around the W when it's not in season.Wow... Did not know there was that much movement in WNBA.
Your NBA playoff record is impressive to look at, I'm jelly.2-2 day as I split in both MLB and WNBA. Back at it Monday with some plays on game 5 of the Finals and probably some MLB as well.
NBA: 177-151-1 +3.22u
NCAAB24-25: 105-98-5 -3.28u
MLB: 66-62-4 -0.91u
NBA playoffs 24-25: 79-55 +14.75u
WNBA: 16-18 -3.55u
It’s I the same post.I can’t find it may I ask what it is ?

Thanks that means a lot coming from you because I really respect your handicapping. It's been a fun ride in the playoffs but really I think the playoffs are much easier to handicap than the regular season for me because I really have a good feel for these teams in a short playoff series. The regular season can be difficult at times because so many teams go through the motions in the NBA it's probably the hardest league to cap.Your NBA playoff record is impressive to look at, I'm jelly.
3-2 day as Alex Caruso really had his first bad game of the Finals and yet the Thunder won comfortably without his contributions off the bench because Jalen Williams went nuclear. Now I get to sweat out game 6 because I can see Indiana winning that game but I also feel OKC has figured them out and will make my prediction of OKC in 6 come true because really that game 4 loss by the Pacers maybe has them shook a little. Haliburton was terrible in game 5 so it will be interesting to see how he bounces back at home in game 6.
