Why not continue fading Colorado??
The last time we talked about the Colorado Rockies, things were bleak. They were on pace to be worse than last year’s White Sox, who lost 121 games. Things have only gotten worse for the Rockies since.
Three stats to make your jaw twitch:
Colorado is 9-50, easily the worst start in the modern era. That’s a 137-loss pace.
The Rockies are 3-28 on the road, which is what I assume a Triple-A team would go if you promoted it to the big leagues. At least.
Yesterday’s loss to the Mets was Colorado’s eighth straight … which marks the team’s fourth eight-game losing streak this year. Does not compute.
