Will be in Tallahassee tomorrow morning for meetings then headed to Sarasota Beach for the weekend with daughter & a few of her friends

And will then be locked in the same manner as you JJ while those girls are doing their own things

Planned to go but we had to cancel due to hurricane headed toward Texas coast and our rental houses at the time. The hurricane ended up hitting somewhere else along the coast.

Good that it missed the houses.
Sucked not going on vacation.

This year we planned to take the trip in June to avoid most of hurricane season.

JJ - so how does the holiday weekend change anything for you - sounds like another day in the life for you.

Myself - no plans, probably just hang around the house and have a cook out. No way in hell I’m going out to the boat this weekend - not exactly warm to start and the mass stupidity that is a public lake/boat launch on a holiday weekend is enough - worse the state campground is next door. Nice place during the week - but weekends get crowded and holiday weekend no thanks.
