Yes, and it's backed by the facts.

Areas in the US with the strictest gun control laws are the most violent. Areas where there is no gun control are virtually crime free.

But it’s a self fulfilling stat - many areas with the tightest gun control are densely populated cities and many of the loosest are largely rural states.

Tell me there isn’t crime in Houston/Dallas or any other mega city in Texas where gun control is not a thing. Ditto - Florida as a whole is pretty lax on gun control - but there are sections of cities where crime is horrible. Oh wait - now you’re going to say those are immigrants committing all that crime - right ?

There are plenty of “safe” areas in CT, NY and other Northeastern states with gun control - but they don’t get reported on as they are wealthy suburbs with strong police presence. Likewise - even when there’s no gun control - areas where police are stretched thin have issues.

So if everyone’s packing - you’ll be safe is the message here and time and time again that’s been proven wrong. What will happen is there will be a marked increase in fire arm related crimes and escalation of minor conflicts. Will it reduce mass shootings - probably. But given the choice of knowing there will be the probability of 2 mass shootings a year vs the probability of an additional 5k manslaughter cases due to reduced controls on who can carry freely - did it actually solve a problem or just create a worsen another ?

The answer ultimately is balance - there should be laws - but not laws that prohibit firearms. Only then can you achieve the most beneficial results. Not everyone should be entitled to posses a firearm and firearm crimes should be given a higher sentencing standard. Way too many people committing armed crimes walking in 2-3 years. Make it a decade firm and reintroduce work farms to the prison system for those convicted - increase penalties on straw buyers and tighten up purchase requirements.

With all due respect, this post tells me you don't have much life experience. Did you grow up in a neighborhood in the big city? Did you have any interactions with blacks in your city?

Going deeper in your point that you made, you neglected to mention that while many areas with strict gun control are densely populated urban areas, the niggers in these areas are cowardly.

They will almost never fight you 1v1 and instead gang up on you.

The point is, if everyone in these urban areas were carrying a gun, crime would drop drastically. Because these niggers wouldn't dare try something if they know everyone is armed.
