Franz, my friends from Germany came to Philly right before the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2017.

They got to attend the parade and became Eagles fans

They loved Philly so much they couldn't believe it.

I took them everywhere, they paid for nothing the entire time they were crying when they had to leave.

I took them to my friends Italian restaurant in South Philly. They loved it so much they couldn't believe it.

When we were saying goodbye at the airport, my friend said my brother, Italy and Germany will always be brothers and we will always be brothers.

They insisted I must come to visit them in Berlin. I said are you sure that's a good idea? I will drink all the beer in Germany there won't be anything left I will drink it for breakfast.

He laughed and said never worry we have plenty of beer you will drink Radeberger with me all day and night.

Radeberger is a fine beer. Both my parents were from Berlin. I went there for the last time when I was 17 to see my 97 year old great grandmother before she passed. That's a pic of my cousin and I at her apartment in 1978 the day before she passed.

Florida for me, Wags.

One state I will never visit is California.

I visit other states, especially during the holidays when we are looking for cooler weather, but every time I do it's a reminder of how I don't want to deal with cold weather for very long & wouldn't be fond of living anywhere else full time other than Florida

Problem with Florida is the hurricanes and the fact that the entire state is basically below sea level. Which means easy flooding.
