Tougher to do now JJ.
Books have changed and limit anyone who starts to win. I'm definitely not in that group but, I've read on forums that many others are.

Harder than ever these days - information much more available and that works both ways.

Books now have data analytics at their fingertips too - back in the day an exceptionally smart individual could use that to their advantage- sharp bettors recognized sharp books and used that info to their advantage elsewhere and sharp books recognized sharp bettors and used their bets to sharpen their lines overall.

Now everyone has the processing power available to them in their pocket on a phone - where before it was only available to a select few with the ability to think on another level.

Plus books are way more financially responsible these days - there was a day where books thought less about shareholders and more about making as much money as humanly possible while assuming risk. All books care about now is making 2 cents more than last quarter in the end.

Nonsense, if taken seriously it's a legitimate, challenging, and character building endeavor.

But it really isn't for everybody.

Personally, I'm focusing on trading all markets right now, not just sports. I'm not sure how I'll be able to handle the info overload, I have to pick and choose my times.

I've decided to really dive into trading, and the language of the markets. It has all the hallmarks of taking sports seriously that I mentioned above.

Some posters don’t have the balls or they don’t have the passion to do this professionally. At least I could say I’ve tried it multiple times. Not lucrative enough for me to really do it full-time, don’t have what it takes. To write it off cowardly because you’ve never done it personally is fuckin‘ lame and ignorant. So this message goes out to that poster indirectly since that’s how he likes to communicate.

I've been day trading sports like crazy last few months.

A lot of opening and closing positions and I intend to day trade MLB as well throughout the season.

But early in the day, I'll be watching 1 min, 5 minute, and 10 second charts as I move in and out of trades, or even just make one trade per day, maximizing reward, while minimizing risk.
