yes living in Vegas now but grew up just outside Atlantic City and lived there for 23 years
Wow!

AC huh?

Pretty fukkin cool.

AC is now the last place on the Jersey Shore that has yet to be fully developed.

There's million plus $ homes there now but pretty soon, that will be the starting price.

Probably a good 30 years ago Atlantic City was the place to be. It was either Atlantic City or Vegas for legalized gambling. Nowadays everyone has casinos in the backyard so AC has really gone to shit. You go block or two off the boardwalk you're in some shady areas

Absolutely but that's gonna change.

Developers pushing out the poor, buying up the land, and putting housing on it.

Only a matter of time before it's untouchable for most.

Buccees is not just a stop at a convience store.... Its a goddamn destination.
It an experience for sure and mainly because there aren’t very many of them (for now)

Always look forward to stopping at one when in Georgia

Arch "Beaver" Aplin III owns Buc-ee's, a chain of gas stations, country stores, and electric vehicle chargers. Aplin founded the company in 1982.

How Aplin founded Buc-ee's
  • Aplin opened the first Buc-ee's in Clute, Texas, in 1982.

  • He named the store after his childhood nickname, Bucky Beaver, and his Labrador retriever, Buck.

    • Aplin's dream for Buc-ee's began in Harrisonburg, Louisiana, where he spent summers at his grandfather's general store.
    • Aplin's grandparents, Arch and Mae Aplin, owned and operated a general store and gas station in Harrisonburg.
Buc-ee's reputation
Buc-ee's is known for its large locations, good food, and clean bathrooms. The company has a cult-like following.

Buc-ee's headquarters
The headquarters for Buc-ee's is in Lake Jackson, Texas, a city south of Houston.

Philadelphia company that started as a convenience store and expanded into a gas station as well.

God tier level convenience store. Known for their coffee, hoagies, espresso based drinks.
Philly I’m genuinely curious, what do you go in there to buy outside of coffee? Never been a convenience store person. The sandwiches are trash made with the lowest form of cold cuts. Subway level cold cuts where they are barely even considered deli meat. People love them I never understand why.
