Fresno State has removed one player from the men's basketball team and suspended two others as the school has drawn scrutiny for potential ties to sports gambling, sources confirmed to ESPN prior to the Bulldogs' loss to Air Force on Saturday.

I think it's the first part, at least for now, but it could quickly get out of hand and become the second part.

Unless they start invoking the death penalty, but that might not pass the cruel and unusual punishment test.
