I'm a creationist.

I want to make this thread as a place that both creationists and evolutionists can politely debate the origins of man. We can ask each other questions and go back and forth. In the end, I want us to be able to come to a general consensus that we can all agree on.

I'll start with this.

Questions to Evolutionists:

1. Most evolutionists accept the big bang theory for the origins of the universe and of life here on earth, so my question to them is this....

How did a mixture of lifeless chemicals spontaneously organize themselves into the first living cell?

Big Bang theory ??? Thoughts 💭???????
It's retarded.

There was nothing and then suddenly life appeared out of nowhere.

You have the same chance as sitting in front of your TV watching a game and suddenly the winning Powerball ticket appears in your hand.

You are the closest thing to a Prophet we have ever seen on forums. You are a hero and icon! I am proud to call you a forum brother.

The big bang theory doesn't pertain to how life started on earth, it pertains to the creation of the universe.

In either case, I don't know how life began on earth. A big difference between creationists and people who believe evolution to be true based on evidence is that creationists demand that life started not only by supernatural origins, but by very specific supernatural origins alluded to in the bible. "Evolutionists," as you call us, feel no need to prescribe either natural or supernatural origins to life on earth. All we can do is follow the evidence, and the evidence for evolution through natural selection is substantial.

It didn’t start by accident in my opinion - there was a creation of life by something.

Call the source of the creation whatever you like - god, allah or the great pumpkin - something started it.

At the same time - I think many get it wrong in the belief that there is someone/something sitting there determining everything and controlling our individual lives. The source of life created life and the land on which we live - however it does not control our lives/destiny. Fate and our choices determine that including not just our own personally but that of others. The ripple effect you set off with an action may be far greater than you realize - both negatively and positively. In that way we ourselves are “god”.

Reading comprehension, bro.

Did you read the first part of my sentence?

Most evolutionists accept the big bang theory for the origins of the universe

Evolutionists believe in nonsense. Might as well believe in magic.

You have no evidence. No evidence of evolution ever occurring. Ever. Not a single transitory fossil ever found and there should be countless millions if evolution happened. It didn't.

The only thing that can create a living thing is another living thing.

The Big Bang is magical fairy tale for atheists.

Well….. So much for the ‘open back & forth discussion’…..

Me, I like to think spiritually, that there’s a ‘higher being’ for your ‘soul’ once you pass on - whatever that is for you…..

I'd like to hear the other side.

It's interesting to me.

Most times, when you dig down deep enough you find they believe in evolution because they have a bias against God.

Did you expect anything else here honestly ?

Some members are capable of accepting opinions may vary and openly discussing matters. I personally will be the first to admit I don’t hold all the answers - or even a majority of them - be it on life, gambling or many other topics.

I agree with your thought there - given the alternative- I’ll believe in there being some higher power - otherwise the end is simply the end and I’ve known way too many good people whose time on earth wasn’t long enough and who did nothing but good in their time - so for it to have been cut short with no reward would be completely unjust.

I don’t see that as being the case.

Bias against god comes in several forms - some people are simply angry that if there is an all powerful that they allow bad things to happen to good people.

Belief that evolution explains our creation just speaks to the fact that we cannot explain god doesn’t have that direct hand in guiding our development. God created the building blocks - but happenstance saw them fall together in such a way as we developed as a result.

Perhaps elsewhere some minor change occurred in the universe and a very different world exist with others who are technically very similar to us but wired much differently. Perhaps in this bizzaro world there exist a parallel BMR where a tall, well endowed man with a flowing mane of hair post only a few deep and well thought out post every day and is considered one of the greatest minds of his generation.

Bro, you spent three paragraphs saying exactly what I said which is a bias against God 🤣 😂 🤣

I don't know about your experiences I can only speak to mine, that has been the overwhelming reason why people choose to believe in nonsense like the big bang theory.
