No question Darnold cost himself $30-40 million minimum

He’d have gotten the Geno deal at least at 3 years. $90-100 million range with maybe $60 million guaranteed

Now might get half that guaranteed. $40 million guaranteed if he’s lucky

He had the perfect scenario with great skill position players everywhere albeit definitely a shaky offensive line

When he goes to a team that doesn’t have near the weapons what does he become??

Don’t he totally reverts back to Jets Darnold but probably an average to below average NFL quarterback. One that shows flashes but never again has a season like this one

Yeah, guess in the end the question is do you offer him a contract or can you do better. I would imagine it's up to Minny what happens here, I doubt there becomes a bidding war.
