I'm betting most people chase (double up) when they are drinking. Fewer inhibitions lead to wreckless play. When you keep double up
I get too angry with the online casinos. It’s too easy to keep going bigger.
JJ, when this happens , you are not respecting the lines. The lines make you respect them in this case.I don’t know if it’s a panic thing or can’t except losing. We all do it. I’ve done it more online casino
Agree video poker is tough. Usually there I’m happy if I win half of what I lose back. Then I’ll shift to blackjack for the rest.Personally, do it with video poker more than anything (even though it is +EV long-term or breakeven at worst)
At least when on tilt with sports, one could take a nap if desired ,video poker is a brutal mental and physical grind when in a downward spiral.
Have done the same, JJ. I will start smaller and then increase to bigger bets in chasing if needed. Online can have very wild swings and you need as much ammo as possible. When you keep double up

THISWe are competitive as gamblers. No one wants to lose - especially when you have made winnings to start with.
I’ve had some of the wildest chases you can imagine. It’s the best feeling when you win it all back.
Come meet me in Memphis at a Diner. You’re not a gambler until you’ve applied for personal loans on Christmas and New Years to cover chasing losses. It’s a rush in itself hoping those are approved in time. You put the fire out and start all over again.

That’s good. If gamblers could stay off tilt it would save them tons of money and heartache in the long runThis won’t happen to me in 2025, this much I know.
