Think of those poor players / having to work on Christmas Day away from their families - some of whom only make league minimum wages.

What’s league minimum in the NFL - a million - so getting paid at least 58k for the day / yea, my heart goes out to them.

I do agree though - NFL is missing a golden opportunity to play tonight / but hard to schedule unless you put 2 Thursday night games last week and then had 2 teams involved in one of each of those games play each other on 5 days rest.

NHL would have made more sense or move the NBA cup final to Christmas Eve as no one cared otherwise / being only game on might get them some attention.

College bowls hard to sell tickets to a bowl game Christmas Eve or Christmas outside of Hawaii.
