You have people touting Bronny James for NBA ROY.

Does it surprise you that these same people think this kid is the best prospect out there ?

Agreed - he’s good no doubt - but thinking he can just show up and outclass everyone else is just wrong.

because he already has shown his skills vs star NBA players and done VERY well.

A 3-pointer over Anthony Davis, swish. A baseline turnaround over Jrue Holiday, easy. An acrobatic putback after crashing the boards and getting fouled by Bam Adebayo, no problem.

Those are three of the best defenders in the NBA.

Cooper Flagg is 17 years old. He held his own against them all.

The story of practice for the U.S. Olympic basketball team on Monday was Flagg, who hasn't even played his first college game yet. The Duke freshman — part of the select team that was invited to work out against the Olympic squad during their training camp and widely believed to be in the mix as the No. 1 pick in next year's draft — looked totally at ease going against some of the NBA's biggest names.

I hate Duke but I respect Cooper Flagg's game. He can shoot effortlessly, he rebounds and plays defense which is something most freshman don't do. We'll see if he gets better but he's already good and only 17. His ceiling is higher than everybody else's just because of that and that's why he'll be number 1 in the draft.

He's good. I just worry 6-9 not tall enough
I think 6'9 is plenty tall enough for him to shoot over people. Cooper will play the 3 in the league and I think he'll be able to score in the league. Whether or not he's a generational talent as he's been called remains to be seen but he's pretty damn good for being as young as he is.

Wonder if he'll grow more since he's just 17
