He always told me he did not want to get old that it’s not worth living because quality of life would not be great I could never understand it.

That sounds like what I’ve talked about before regarding becoming an old person, my biggest nightmare.

I personally don’t care about getting old. But the day I can’t take care of myself and life is not fun anymore is the day I give myself a “hot one” a huge boot right in the vein.

When you become a burden like that to society, then that decision becomes a selfless act IMO.
