Many of the lawmakers that voted against the provision of additional necessary funding to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) represent states that were hit particularly hard by Hurricane Helene.

Ooops hit a nerve! Don't have a heart attack. I think both sides suck. I grew up on the banks of the Tennessee River and have lived in this valley my whole life. On the local news last night saw at least 3 Republican Gov. thanking Biden for Quick response and help. This is the fukking budget continuing resolution, not FEMA relief in the TVA.
Measure twice, cut once, before posting.
Biden has the power to call congress back, but the Dems are losing the Senate in polls so Schumer won't bring them back for a vote, and Joe is a lame duck, so he won't force it.
No it was actually netter than either of the e first two debatesI read it was bad
Vance crushed himI read it was bad
Vance crushed him. Walz avoided questions all night. So who won (according to BetOnline) ?
Multiple outlets reporting “their guy” won - with more moderate ones calling it a toss up.
My chat with BOL -Polls - opinions are one thing - but who did BO deem as winner ?
All that matters for betting purposes is who the bookie judged as the winner. Have a feeling they may be calling this one a a draw - offering a token to all who wagered.
I watched about 30 mins of it. I could not say either way, with what I saw.type or amount of wager ? Or just calculating the total handle to see what side benefits the book?
Seriously - WTF type of answer is this?
Anyone actually feel strongly enough about your side to share results of grading ?
I’d literally laugh my ass off if they got caught calling both sides losers.
Don’t play there currently and have a feeling they are all “pending” presently - hence the BS answer.
Who I think won isn’t meaningful here - overall though I’d score it to Vance.
Quote of the day.I watched about 30 mins of it. I could not say either way, with what I saw.
I will say, they both seemed smarter, than their running mates. I have a higher opinion of both guys than I DID YESTERDAY. They both did a good job in the little I watched.
Can we flip the tickets and put these two at the top? KH and Trump as VP.
I mentioned the TVA as in area, not a '30s public worksOoops hit a nerve! Don't have a heart attack. I think both sides suck. I grew up on the banks of the Tennessee River and have lived in this valley my whole life. On the local news last night saw at least 3 Republican Gov. thanking Biden for Quick response and help.
Now to your smart ass statement.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is a federally owned electric utility corporation in the United States. TVA's service area covers all of Tennessee, portions of Alabama, Mississippi, and Kentucky, and small areas of Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. While owned by the federal government.
So that is the TVA. Can you give a link on what you are talking about, there is nothing on TVA's.
website or the State of Tennessee website, about federal funds being cut from FEMA for anybody.
Nothing on local TV about it either. I live here.
''This is the fukking budget continuing resolution.'' How can they help anyone without funds?
Measure twice, cut once, before posting, or cutting a board.
Now I understand how Duterte won.In the PH election, you will be surprised that even the long-dead can still vote.
