When you start realizing it is all fukking bullshit you can start being who you were meant to be and die with a smile on your face. Haven't been to a funeral yet that people stood up and said how nice the person dressed, how much money they had, or how cool they were on the internet. It all comes down to what you do for others without being a hypocrite or a perpetual victim and praying for God's grace.

For me , I define being rich as having 7 healthy children who have 8 healthy grandkids. Sometimes during our family BBQ's I sit back and just watch the smiles and laughter from my grandkids. I know no greater joy
I'm not in this stage yet but I can tell that this is the greatest achievement a human can get.

Others only released about this thing during their final days or on their deathbed. It's too late.

There’s not a whole lot of happiness in poverty, and when you’re rich, you take things for granted and feel entitled (most people). So middle-class and happy is my answer.

You are rich with let's say $3k worth of bed, but you can't sleep because you're depressed thinking what to do the next morning about your business deal...Meanwhile, here comes the poor with a regular thin bed cushion in a simple house but sleeps soundly because he has nothing to worry about, just need to do his usual routine of going to work. --> This is my main basis for choosing the poor and happy option.

I know, money can buy happiness, especially material things and all the comfort in life.. but the question is more on your innermost thoughts. What would you choose?

Genie this feels like a typo.

Money can't buy happiness. It can buy material things, but not "happiness" as you are basically saying.

If money really could buy happiness, then your question in the original post makes no sense.

Everyone would simply choose to be rich then go to the happiness story and spend some of their money. But, sadly, it doesn't work that way.
