How to calculate variance
  1. Determine the mean of your data.
  2. Find the difference of each value from the mean.
  3. Square each difference.
  4. Calculate the squared values.
  5. Divide this sum of squares by n – 1 (sample) or N (population).

I’m not talking about little stuff that you have to dig deep some of the bigger categories. Do we see any trends?
My 30K wager had a seasonal trend of 2-21 record against lefties the Marlins and a 12-3 record against lefties the Guardians, at nearly even money one team was 40-20 the Guardians, and the other team was 20-40 the Marlins and I still lost lol. Guardians went on to win the series as well. Bad timing and bad luck shit happens.
