I live one block away from the world famous silk village here. I can get suits made very easy and cheap. I wear a t shirt and shorts or pants, never a suit.
Makes sense.

Do you also bring a gift/souvenir from Vietnam to give to your friends or family every time you go home?

Why burn?
https://itourvn.com/blog/what-to-know-about-joss-paper-burning-in-vietnam/

Vietnamese people have burned incense to mark important occasions and celebrations, and as a way to pray for and remember their ancestors. In Vietnam, as in so many other places in the world, incense burning is an ancient cultural and religious ritual.
a ritual offering of money and wealth to the dead which is most popular during death anniversaries, Tet, and the ghost month festival. People who grew up or live in Vietnam, or other parts of Asia such as China and Japan know it well.
