I just signed up so I could post after I decided to do an internet search for “JJ Gold Sports,” and this forum thread was one of the first things to pop up.

I used to post years ago on MajorWager, like 20 years ago, where Gold had a presence.

Freaking hilarious threads that character started or participated in and I can’t believe he’s still alive. Or at least was alive as of early 2024.

People accused me one time of being one of his zillion fake profiles. But, if you can’t tell by the grammar, spelling and punctuation, I ain’t him and he ain’t pretending to be me. I’m just a fan.

That was a great time at MajorWager back in the day, with the free handicapping contests that Russ would throw in for, funny posts by Yzerman-something, BostonGambler, Railbird and his Little League handicapping, some guy named SickGambler, if I remember correctly… and JJ Gold.
