Lamont Paris deserves coach of the year in the SEC. His South Carolina team should be ranked in the top 15-20 next week they're that good. They kicked the crap out of my Kentucky Wildcats and proved that was no fluke by beating Tennessee on the road which is the more impressive victory given they beat a top 5 team on the road. They get no respect but they'll be dangerous in March because they play the game at their pace which makes them tough to go against for anybody regardless of how talented the other team is.

How are the not ranked

They weren't ranked because they hadn't had any quality wins until they beat Kentucky at home but this road win against the Vols will vault them to a decent ranking next week. They're better than their Net ranking says and it wasn't very high coming into this game which will change with wins over Kentucky and Tennessee.
