This thread is long overdue. I know we have some real intelligent people here. I love talking about wars with @Brock Landers . I have never met anyone in my personal life that is more knowledgable than him on that topic. Lets get this thread going here.

Bad news for the Philadelphia Eagles ..no NFC team has gone back to the SB the next year after losing the previous SB, since the 1974 Minnesota Vikings (New England did it in the AFC more recently)

Brock, do you have any wild facts about the moon landing that most of us have no idea about? 🚀 🌕
Diggity aka the new Dad, just wait until Landers starts to give us his knowledge on wars and Kissinger, he is an expert. never seen anything like it. Don't even get him started on Lincoln, Kennedy and the Civil War, he will take us all to school.

Illini, the Gulf of Tonkin incident is a great one. One has to think about the motivations.

So many things happened in the 1960s. It's all inter-connected. Just a matter of connecting the dots.

Tankster, do you have proof that Bigfoot is roaming around New Hampshire these days?
No proof of Bigfoot in Texas but I have seen a Chupacabra while campling. Fed it some chicken right out of my hand.

Chupacabra means "goat sucker" in Spanish, and according to reports, the creature acts much like a vampire, killing animals by sucking their blood. Though similar stories date back several decades, the first major wave of alleged chupacabra sightings came from farmers in Puerto Rico in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Landers, any truth to Springfield Il being the Chili capitol of America? Is there better Chili than Springfield, I have always been under the impression it's the most famous place for Chili.

Absolutely true. Cincinnati chili is a total joke vs Springfield IL chili with world renowned chili parlors. I just had a bowl on Saturday!
