I was recruited by one of the officers before to join the Drug and Enforcement Unit. I immediately declined. A few of my friends were already killed in the drug operations. Handling drug cases is suicide.

It is very very dangerous there. I had mentioned to you my friend lives in Mindanao with his wife. I have been there a few times and it is an amazing place, but as you know there are parts of it that are extremely dangerous, the kind of dangerous you don't mess around with. Real terrorist cells, Isis, Taliban etc , the real deal is in Mindanao, opium, Yaba, etc, I am sure you know all about this, I am into this and love to learn and research so I might be more aware of it, but when I have been there, I took a motorbike trip for 2 days and ventured into some no go zones, I had a great meal in Marawi and explored the area. My friends wife said there are parts there that Filipino's won't even go.

Indeed! I've never been to that place myself either and definitely have no plan to visit in the future. Just sad because the place is rich in natural resources, but no one dares to go there. You are brave!
