It's easy to set up an intermediate wallet and it will likely prevent the exchange from banning you. Easy choice imo.

Kraken is an exchange. I have been sending btc to/from Kraken for years. Never any problems.

No, I go directly from Kraken to sportsbook and vice versa. Done hundreds of transactions. Never had a problem.
