With the worst ERA in the Nippon Professional Baseball league, it is no surprise that Trevor Bauer has to face the consequences. The Yokohama DeNA BayStars sent Bauer, a former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, down to their minor-league team.
It’s a move that does not please the former MLB pitcher. This move was a long time coming, and Bauer should be grateful it didn’t happen sooner.
The earliest date that Bauer could be recalled to the NPB team is July 9. There’s no telling whether it happens then or not. But that date is about two weeks away. Bauer’s ERA increased to 4.13 is the worst in the league.
