I was doing a college stage production and experienced a NDE {near death experience}. The stage was full of fog, I took two steps and the next thing I was dropping 20 feet towards a concrete floor that was at times used as an orchestra pit. As I was falling I sensed my life pass before my eyes and the two second fall seemed to appear as an eternity. Some discarded props helped break the fall as I landed. I was bruised on my left side for six months. Some skin damage near my ribs has remained to this day.
The tec crew missed the cue to shut that trap floor and apologized. I found a rolling stair and managed to reappear on stage and finish my roll.
After the show some little kid came up to me and said "Man that special effect was awesome, especially that thud sound." I thanked him and walked away,
OMG! This is so scary, Lemurian. You could have still broken your bones or fallen directly by the head if you have fallen in a bad position. Accidents can happen in a split of a sec that you don't even have the time to react. I cannot imagine your heartbeat at that time.

The reason why we need to treat each other with kindness. Even for those people who don't deserve it.
everyone deserves at least the benefit to address what makes them angry if they are attacking someone on the forum. If someone is constantly doing it, they don't deserve it

but a random post here or there of negativity can be explained and forgiven for sure

Consistent, then fauck them

I had a NDE.

Flatlined in the hospital. Eyes rolled back into my head and I left.

It was super peaceful. Incredibly so. Just felt so much like ... I was where I was supposed to be. Supreme happiness.

Then it felt like this horrible dizzy insane rollercoaster feeling and like going in a reverse tunnel at warp speed as they brought me back to life with a few shots of adrenaline.

I was terrified out of my mind, but couldn't yet open my eyes. To me, I was in both realms. I was aware of both surroundings.

I knew I was lying in the hospital bed. There was an old nurse on my right side who was holding my head, like I was a child. She was patting the top of it, rubbing it like a grandma would, telling me everything would be okay, saying like "sshhhhh, it's gonna be okay". I knew she was old because the skin on her hand was rough.

When I was fully awake and everything was calm again, I asked my wife to please go get the nurse that was by my side and holding my head, because I wanted to thank her for being so nice and doing that for me.

My wife looked at me weird and asked me what I was talking about. There hadn't been a nurse (or anybody else) holding my hand.

So, I figure I met my angel.
