I use CPA for the business taxes but, I started doing my own after an accountant messed up on my return a few years ago. I caught it in time but, pissed me off.

Worst part about the CPA making the mistake was, after I showed him where his company's software made the error, he didn't say thanks, give me discount or anything.

I asked him how many other people's taxes do you think you messed up on? He didn't want to talk about it but he did let his corporate office know their software had a problem.
