So we went for a simple hiking trail yesterday and damn! My whole leg muscles are hurting now. It's been a while since I do proper exercise and I forgot to do stretching before we started the hike. tsk tsk.

I thought putting my legs up on the wall last night for 20 minutes helps. lol.

I am jealous Genie. Miss my hikes a lot.

I was able to go Grocery shopping with my wife, and brunch at a local Kelsey's. The best part was the ability to walk on my own without a walker/stroller. Exactly 9 months to the day since my car accident in Germany on June 11th / 22. That day i was paralyzed from the neck down and flown by helicopter to Univ. of Munich hospital. 2 spinal operations in Munich , flown back to Canada for Rehab on June 27th. From bed to wheelchair to stroller , and as of recently , walking on my own.

That was my only goal 9 months ago. To walk again

Went to an American Hockey League game Saturday. If you have an AHL team near you, go. The "AAA" game has changed so much, not the cheap overly physical game of the past, lot of high skill players and price is so much more reasonable.

I am glad to hear about your improvement. Your experience is such a great inspiration for not giving up! I know you will be totally okay soon and I cannot wait for you to share your hiking photos with us.

Well Genie I went to see the Springfield (MA) Thunderbirds, so them for the AHL. But know (allegedly) more about the NHL and have grown up a life long Bruins fan and mostly watch that.
