Any idea what this thing is? It looks like a lizard and appears that its mouth is moving or something, but I'm sure its just some rock or log or some shit.

They are built in "rig yards". Think of it as a ship building yard for oil rigs. The entire rig is built and floated on pontoons or carried by a special ship out to see and anchored in place.

It's amazing how they build it. Looks like a lot of hard labor and I bet this work also pays a lot.
