I don’t have a problem with it. This tradition you speak of is wrong 10-15% of the time, manipulating winning variance.

Yeah, I don't mind them giving this a test run down in the minors. Umpiring at times in the majors can be so bad (Angel Hernandez) is a perfect example

I would take an electronic ump over that clown every day of the week. But I wouldn't mind having the umps assists in some way shape or form to keep the jobs it provides.

They should have electronic players too. It would totally speed up the game. Probably be done in 20-30 minutes

tennis does this with Hawkeye live. No need for line judges.

100% accurate, why would anyone be upset at this
Exactly it’s 2023, we need accuracy as fans & gamblers. I’m tired of this shit, the egos on some of these umps are through the roof.

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this, but the MLB is the biggest joke of the 4 major professional sports leagues.

Because they are the only one who allows their officials (umpires) to disregard the rules, and make up their own strike zone, from game to game

It's absurd, it's time for a change, and electronic ball & strike zones are the answer

agreed, the "every ump has his own strike zone" has always been and still is ridiculous. I get the history and integrity of the game etc but isn't it better for the integrity of the game that everyone gets the same exact strike zone for every single at bat?

In the end, this makes baseball better. every sport has to adjust to the times and use the technology available to improve it.

Its coming whether we like it or not. Its just a matter of time.
I see it being implemented with a challenge system at first and then eventually going full ABS.
