saw it in the theater today

2.5 hours. Very slow. (A few slight spoilers down below if you think you’re going to watch it)

If it were directed by a guy named Smith instead of Spielberg doubt it would be up for any awards.

First 75 percent of the show focus some on the son’s obsession with filmmaking but it was mainly a slow crawl toward the inevitable divorce of the parents (played by Michelle Williams and Paul Dano - two actors I really like but they just didn’t click for me here)

There were a few interesting storylines and funny parts but they were few and far between.

Disappointed because I was looking forward to this one because of
and I rarely get to go to the movies in the theater anymore.

Lately, I just go to the theater if it's an animated, Marvel, or DC movies.. Well, I made an exception for others like the TopGun.
How was the remake of Top Gun ? I’ve mentioned before on here the original movie is in my top 3 all time.

I look at the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. If a movie has a low % from critics but a high % from the audience reviews, I immediately rent it. I've never failed to like a movie like this.
Wish we could find a trigger on a betting system that worked this way.

It was great. Perfect example of a movie that’s 10x better to see in a theater
