Sammy, We were doing the puzzle thing while we watched the games last night. We got a late start so we have a ways to go today. Bowl game at 2:30 ET so we'll be working on it this afternoon. This is a small one, 1000 pieces. Most of our family are headed out tonight or in the morning so we went small.

You still knocking them out?

How about anyone else. Do you do puzzles as a family event over holidays?

You've done all of these alone, Sam?
Yes. I guess at this point its officially a hobby of mine
My kitchen/livingroom is connected and i have a tv stand that rotates

so i set up on my nook/counter and turn tv towards me so i can watch the game while working on puzzle

turn music on and work on puzzle.
Sadly i dont have anyone to puzzle with me but i enjoy it. Keeps my mind going and again hobby at home

ive spent hours to only accomplish 4-5 pieces on a night before. Trial and error is my system

This is how i set it up and organize

1. seperate perimeter from middle
2. Organize all middle pieces into columns
3. Inventory. Count all pieces to confirm 1000 or whatever the puzzle is
4. Start with perimeter
5. Work on inside

ill then take pieces from the far right and move to far left as i find pieces. So then slowly the columns on far right go away meaning its getting closer and closer done

I'm lacking in that category.😅
Looks like good therapy. Completing it slowly and taking your time.

It's really great Sam. How I wish I can find this big puzzle in a bookstore here.

honestly i buy them on amazon. Pick whatever your favorite activity is or city or sports team or movie/tv show or character

everything can be turned into a puzzle

I took a picture of my parents and for their anniversary sent them a puzzle that's a picture of them
I will try to search on Amazon then.

This is indeed a great wedding anniversary gift for your parents Sam!

I always wondered if I started to put puzzles together, would it help my sports handicapping abilities.
