You know at Dutch Brothers out here they sell muffin tops. It's just the top of the muffin and it's soft and full of flavor

oh my goodness that sounds great. i love crispy tops though

dunkin donuts has the best muffins imo. they always have very crispy tops but the insides are soft

When it comes to pastries crispy usually means stale at least in my experience. I like soft
