Those were the god ole days when there was no HBO and Pay Per View everyone got to see him box. And they went 15 rounds back then which was probably to much l remember watching heavy weight fights in the latter rounds they could hardly lift their arms they were exhausted.

i remember watching boxing all the time with my dad growing up. i will say, boxing now is no comparison to boxing back then. it's more of a "show" now rather than a sport imo

What built Ali was that he had peers to fight.

Foreman
Frazier of course

None of these fighers have a quartet of rivals at their peak.

Tyson at least had competition, hyped- but legit, there hasn't been quality boxing in 35 years
