I remember when I was there briefly in 2010 on a road trip my dad said to stop there for a Hurricane. Need to go back as we had the kids so didn't do anything but the day tour of city.

My top list of places for a bash

Ate at this place yesterday. It was ok. 6/10.
Oysters were good. Blackened catfish - so/so. I’ll try to remember food pics for the food porn next time.

There are better seafood places in NOLO.

The Forecast was for several days of rain in NOLA so we left on Monday. 18 hours later we ended up in Colorado. Long drive but beautiful scenery and no humidity or heat.

I’ve been told they sell “herbs” legally here. We might have to look for a dispensary.

This is beautiful country. may need
To move up here for the summers. The winters probably not so great with all the snow (we ski, but very poorly—> bunny trails with the little kids).

The pic is from an Air bnb. It’s on a golf course but our rental doesn’t get us access to the course (private).
