Very sad day for Golf fans to witness the end of this great LEGEND. He will never win another regular tournament or a major ever again.

I agree he days of winning and perhaps much less being in contention are now behind him.

I remember some folks were saying after the Masters this year he’ll have another 15 years to win another major but I think he finally has an injury that’s too difficult to overcome.

I hope he says around the game. He’s become a pretty good mentor to the age group 10-15 years younger than him that grew up idolizing him.

When he limped out of the press area Thursday he looked like a 75-year-old man who needed a knee replacement. I told my dad, that’s it. We will never see him contend in a major again.

He doesn’t need to be out there. He basically uses his golf club as a cane to walk the entire golf course, it’s sad. If he wants to play & win again on tour he’ll have to be granted a golf cart for physical reasons, but he we’ll never do that, it’s not in his DNA.
