It was decided that I will run a golf campaign this year and even though this week's tourney started, I capped it yesterday and posted some buys that disappeared.

Only two positions of those buys that I still hold are...

Schauffele Top 10 finish @.34 cents.
Fleetwood Top 10 finish @ .49 cents.

These are aging decently, with Fleetwood dropping while Xander presses, with much golf to go.

I sold Matsuayama and Schauffele to win contracts that were bought yesterday for about break even with the loss prety much coming from commission.

If I get green, I might get out. We were missing some info when this was filled, but I liked the price if I could get it.

Yeah, watch out for liquidity issues sometimes, otherwise putting in limit orders for some of those alt lines has been golden for me.

It's just sa conversion problem.

It's early, but I can game out the situation where this play fails at this number.

Might get stopped out of this one, though still in for now as we watch the down, distance, and price.

Still no fill, but managing the orders to stay as front as I can in the orderbook at my prices.

One specific I'll give is that some of those orders are at the Uconn-16.5 level but I'm trying to get it for less than .50 cents.

We think Uconn could come out firing tonight and that means getting these after the game starts might not pan out.

I am willing to go to market, if I have to but trying not to go there. We are getting close to entering the last hour of trading, so we will watch for some volatility there.

This game playing just at the level that keeps my position open, but it feels precarious in that spot. Trying not to get flushed out here until we get a feel for the second half.

One thing is for sure, action is slowing down on the trading desk. I had a lot of leans that went well today, but none of them bought.

Less plays triggering, even at the trading desk, could be the function of the market catching up to the bettor as previous edges disappear.

But that's not what's happening here. I fully expected a slowdown as we get away from the holiday and NFL playoff boost.

I said before, next stop is conference tourneys and March Madness, meaning these weeks until then, the setup for the post season, are a bit choppy, less clear and obvious, and carry more risk.

This is a function of the market structure and volume differences during certain times of year. I've been saying since this began that we were in a good time of the year and trying to get those overperforming results every week is risky, if not a fools errand.

Just as the market sets up and prepares for the post season, those of us who trade should be doing the same.

This is a much better mindset than trying to force plays amidst all this Hoops action.

Could be helpful but for this trading I am much more hands on and engaged.

We were looking at Kalshi Pro and might start using that as I build out a hedge fund when the leagues change, like in the summer.

Hopefully we'll get strategy and platform all worked out by next fall. That should be an exciting time.

Situation in the second half about the same. Just above a level of flushing me out, so I'm still in but feels like it's going nowhere.

This one could come down to the final minutes, or it could completely ass out. Not going to have a never in doubt blowout here for this OVER.
