I'm not blind but quite visually impaired these days. I still manage to get around pretty good by common routines and being aware of my surroundings and using my wits.
Saw a blind guy yesterday on the subway lobby floor fly by me using his walking electronic cane. Looked to be in a rush and passing a dozen people easily. Amazing how people can adapt in life.

They have electronic walking cans nowadays? Wow. I wonder how they differ from just a regular cane.

I know nothing about them really but I think they have been around for many years. It's some kind of radar I think . Sends out a signal that bounces off subjects I guess.
