Thoughts on trades so far.
Wiz are huge winners. They basically turned CJ and Middleton and some garbage picks into AD am Trae. I get it, neither of those guys are reliable, but their ceilings are high and they don’t give away any of their good picks and core guys. Dallas should have waited, they sold AD at his all time low. I think they just wanted to get rid of him and move on from the Luka trade.
I don’t care much about the Cavs and Clips trade. It’s irrelevant. Cavs are a choker team and just added a historic choker. Garland is younger and a long term upgrade but Clips aren’t a serious team.
Grizzlies got a haul for Jaren Jackson, they got a ton of picks between that trade and the Bane trade. If they deal Morant they will have an interesting future. Smart of them to hit the reset button.
Kristaps and Steph will be a lot of fun but their season ended when Jimmy got injured. They’re just happy to get rid of Kuminga.
Curious to see what happens with Giannis, should find out soon.
